Kathryn Pinto, Licensed Real Estate Broker

Compass

To Kathryn Pinto, there is nothing more rewarding than handing a buyer a set of keys to a home they are ecstatic about or helping a seller through one of life’s many transitions. “That exciting moment is so rewarding and keeps me going for future clients,” says Pinto, a licensed real estate broker with Compass.

A Midwestern girl at heart, Pinto is at her best when helping people. Attentive, responsive and honest, she guides clients through the homebuying or selling process with the same advice she’d give family or friends. She approaches each transaction with enthusiasm, patience and grace. “I’m all about making things easy for my clients,” she says. “If it means helping them move furniture, stage or coordinate painters or repairs, I’m on it!”

Pinto represents buyers, sellers and relocation clients in Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Warrenville, Naperville, Lombard and Winfield. She started off her career in real estate five years ago as Baird & Warner’s Rookie of the Year and has experienced 20% to 30% year-over-year growth in her business ever since. “When you consistently have 30 to 40 transactions in a year in a specific market [DuPage County], you have been through a lot of different situations with respect to negotiations, inspections and appraisals,” she says. “All of that experience helps me serve my clients at a high level.”

Pinto has made Real Producers’ Top 250 list and holds the designations of Certified Staging Professional and Real Estate Negotiation Expert. A second-generation Realtor — her mom maintains a license and is in her seventies — she’s raising a family in Wheaton with her husband. “I love being able to tell clients moving from out-of-state or the city who their kid’s kindergarten teacher will be and the best local spot for date night — that’s how well I know the area,” she says.

A former deacon, Pinto volunteers on the Children’s Ministry Committee at her church. She also has served on the board of Wheaton’s Newcomers Club and as PTA vice president and president at the elementary school her children attend in downtown Wheaton.
