A Chicago Association of Realtors Top Producer since 2013, Danny Lewis has always got his clients’ backs. The head broker of The Lewis Group at Dream Town Realty, Lewis serves buyers, sellers and investors throughout the city, while acting as a coach and mentor to his team of agents. Joining the real estate industry a decade ago after his 94 year-old grandfather let him manage the sale of his home, Lewis quickly fell in love with the process and transitioned from his career in sales and marketing to indulge his new passion. “My experience working in the corporate world gave me a resiliency and an aptitude for networking and effectively communicating with others,” he says.
Known for his seemingly 24/7 availability and brutal honesty, Lewis, a North Shore native and graduate of DePaul University, keeps a constant watch on the market to ensure that his clients act quickly to secure the home of their dreams. “But at the end of the day, I’m looking out for what’s best for my clients, not to make a sale,” he says, adding that his reputation has earned him a predominantly referral-backed business.
Selling more than $20 million of homes during the pandemic, Lewis beat his 2020 total in the first five months of 2021, while at the same time onboarding three team members, training a new full-time assistant and acclimating to a remote-based business model. “Safety and protecting ourselves and our clients at all times was a primary concern for us,” says Lewis.
In addition to ranking as a top producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors, Lewis currently stands as a Dream Town top producer and was previously named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Realtors in the U.S.
Lewis is an avid golfer and loves to travel.
