With 30 years of experience, Peter Andreotti loves the competition and connection he finds working in the mortgage industry. He currently serves as the vice president and area sales manager at Wintrust Mortgage.
Competition is what drives this former Division 1 athlete, who measures success by his own track record. Andreotti has built billion-dollar production regions at three different companies, and he is confident that the Wintrust Mortgage platform will allow him to continue his success.
“I believe so many of the traits learned in sports are valuable to one’s life — discipline, commitment, setting goals, integrity and working as a team,” Andreotti says of his business philosophy.
For him, real estate is “a family thing.” Andreotti’s mother, Janet, was president of the Illinois Association of Realtors and his father, Peter, was vice president and regional sales manager at Coldwell Banker Real Estate. In addition, his brother, Paul, is also an executive in the industry.
Andreotti also enjoys the variety of work that the mortgage industry offers, relishing the call to overcome new challenges every day, as well as the unlimited opportunity for growth. He is also particularly driven by the relationship aspect of the business and everything involved in it, from networking, referrals and recruiting to alignment with vital business partners, particularly real estate professionals.
Outside of his career, Andreotti counts athletics among his passions. He is proud to have figured out how to integrate the many important lessons he has learned from sports into his career and personal life.
