Memeti Group

RE/MAX Legends – Oak Brook

Lydia Memeti, Team Leader and Broker

Rina Anaya, Real Estate Broker

The team leader of the Memeti Group, Lydia Memeti joined her husband, Sam, in a real estate partnership that has lasted more than 30 years. This celebrated group, which also includes Rina Anaya, is a perennial winner of top producer awards from the Chicago Association of Realtors’ and RE/MAX. It has also received RE/MAX’s Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award and has been designated among the top 1% of teams worldwide by the company, as well as having earned Best of Zillow awards in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Memeti’s entrepreneurial spirit has driven her since she emigrated from Albania 45 years ago. “My husband and I began in hospitality, and I continue to embrace the client service skills I learned during that time in my real estate business,” Memeti says. “Many of our clients say they don’t see us as agents, but as part of their families.”

Originally an EKG specialist and phlebotomist, Anaya was always intrigued by architecture and decided to immerse herself in a real estate career six years ago. “In the medical field, we are often told to bring an abundance of energy and empathy to patient care, and those same attributes are vital to long-lasting real estate relationships,” Anaya says.

The Memeti Group recently launched the RE/MAX Legends office in Oak Brook and offers streamlined services, including financing, inspections and legal assistance. “Our team also spans several generations, which gives our clients flexibility,” Memeti says. “They also love the fact that we are available 24/7 and that they can call just one team member and get all of their questions answered.”

As president of the Albanian-American Women’s Association of Greater Chicago, Memeti is a proud mother and grandmother who loves to travel. A mother of three, Ayana’s eldest child recently joined the real estate industry as a loan officer. She actively supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
