Yassine Taib, Owner and Property Manager, Essential Property Management

Broker, Option Realty Group

A dream broker for investors, Yassine Taib helps clients find great buys and gain massive equity right away. Taib, owner and property manager of Essential Property Management and a broker with Option Realty Group, has extensive knowledge about buying and fixing up properties to earn an immediate return on investment. His specialties are first-time homebuyers, investors, and property management and rentals on the South and West sides of Chicago. Taib offers investors a full-service experience, from helping them with the purchase to recommending contractors for rehab to leasing units and managing buildings. He has an ability to spot and analyze needed repairs, provide comparables, calculate an accurate after-repair value, help obtain contractor bids, and lease units at top dollar once the project is completed.

Successful in sales and rentals, Taib doubled his business in both areas this past year while serving the luxury rental and affordable housing markets. “My goal is to turn all my renters into homebuyers, especially with how low interest rates have been this year,” Taib says. “I plan to host many homebuyer seminars that are guided to turn renters into buyers.” On the property management side, he picked up a dozen more units to manage this year. He was inspired to become a real estate broker by his older brother’s lengthy career in the industry.

At age 26, Taib is thrilled to apply his hard-earned knowledge to his own rehab project. “I am excited to be building a real estate portfolio of my own,” he says. “I hope I can lead by example and show my clients firsthand how to successfully invest in real estate.”

Personally, Taib sponsors underserved families in his home country of Morocco. In the coming months, he plans to start a foundation to support more Moroccan families in need. A big soccer fan, he tries to play as much as he can and loves to watch Real Madrid compete on TV.
