Chris Fixler, Broker

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Working in business development for an e-commerce and digital marketing company helped Chris Fixler hone her sales skills. Ultimately, though, she craved a shorter sales cycle and more human interaction. She found both in real estate.

Now a broker with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, Fixler has worked in the industry for six years and surpassed more than $100 million in career sales. She is excited to turn the first building she bought into condos and start selling the units this fall.

Fixler assists first-time homebuyers and seasoned investors in Bucktown, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, North Center and Wicker Park. “Negotiating has always been my strongest attribute,” she says. “I am very good at stating my client’s case and coming to a resolution with both parties.” She has accumulated several awards and honors from prestigious organizations for her achievements in the industry. She was included on Crain’s Chicago Business’ list of Notable Residential Real Estate Brokers in 2019 and received multiple recognitions from the Chicago Association of Realtors, including a 2018 ranking of $20+ million in sales, a Silver award in 2017 and being nominated for Rookie of the Year in 2015.

“Over the past six years, I have had the pleasure of representing both buyers and sellers of many different asset classes throughout the city of Chicago,” Fixler says. “Single-family homes, condominiums, commercial properties, new construction and rehabs. This has allowed me to learn the ins and outs of the entire Chicago real estate market while being hands-on, as opposed to being narrowly focused down one path at all times.”

A self-proclaimed deal junkie, Fixler notes that her work ethic has helped bolster her success, leading to most of her business coming from referrals and networking. “Every single client will say that I fight for them,” says Fixler. “I always have their best interests at heart.”

A new mother, Fixler wants her son to grow up seeing how hard his mom works and become inspired by it.
