From distressed properties to luxury homes, Sarah Coward can sell it all. “I’ve built my business to ensure everyone receives the support they need,” says Coward, a real estate broker with @properties. “This job is not about me. It’s about making sure each client receives the highest level of service that I can provide.” Having lived in and around Chicago for 15 years, Coward specializes in residential buyers, sellers and investors in her hometown of Evanston, as well as on the North Side of Chicago and in the surrounding areas. With her knowledge of these places, she can offer personal and professional insights into what each has to offer.
Prior to joining @properties, Coward was a project manager overseeing the building, stocking and merchandising of retail stores in expanding markets. “This experience, coupled with my design background, makes me uniquely suited to assist my sellers by presenting their properties in the best light, as well as helping my buyers see the potential in an outdated home,” she says. Beyond that, she stays with her clients all the way through the process to make sure everything goes smoothly to the closing table and beyond.
Since 2015, Coward has been honored as a Five Star Professional, and last year, after seven years in the industry, she acquired 80% of her clients through referrals from previous clients or vendors in her area. “To have that trust and respect is truly humbling,” she says.
Outside of work, Coward enjoys all that Lake Michigan has to offer — running and bike paths, parks perfect for picnics, and evenings spent with her feet in the sand. She is an avid reader and loves supporting new local businesses, as well as the Chiaravalle Montessori in Evanston by sponsoring the annual benefit for the school’s scholarship fund.
