More than a decade after actualizing her destiny by becoming a real estate professional, Nicole Flores still feels blessed to serve her clients and have the opportunity to do what she loves. Flores, a broker associate at Baird & Warner, specializes in both the residential and commercial markets in and around Chicago. “I will go wherever the business takes me, as long as I can help each client to the fullest of my potential,” says the Chicago native, adding that, if necessary, she’ll enlist the help of a team member to augment her knowledge when working in a less familiar neighborhood.
With previous sales ranging from $25,000 to $4 million, Flores treats every client with the same level of respect, compassion, urgency and efficiency. “My own homebuying experience influenced how I treat my customers,” she explains. “I knew I could do so much better by exceeding expectations.”
Flores is the top agent in her office and ranks among the top 1 percent in the company, both accomplishments she attributes in part to having a full-time assistant. “I want my clients to feel like they are my only clients,” she says.
Prior to earning her license 14 years ago, Flores was a branch manager and vice president in banking, having worked her way up the chain of command since entering the industry when she was 18. However, she developed her work ethic years before while working at a fast-food restaurant as a young teen. “I give 110 percent to everything I do,” she says. “Working consistently since I was 13 has prepared me to run a business to my absolute best abilities.”
Flores supports the Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation and volunteers with the Danny Did Foundation, which recently presented her with its community partner of the year award. She has also coordinated a coat drive at Edgebrook Elementary School to collect thousands of coats for the New Hope Community Food Pantry.
Flores begins every day with meditation, yoga and positive affirmations. She also loves spending time in nature, biking, walking in the forest and lounging at the beach with her family.
