Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty
Mark Becker’s unique background brings an extensive array of skills and experience that benefit his clients in many ways. Prior to establishing the Pfeifer Becker Team at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty with business partner Mark Pfeifer last year, Becker spent two decades in senior marketing and business/fundraising development roles with Chicago-area nonprofits. In these capacities, he developed a keen ability to understand market positioning, branding and targeted outreach. “One size does not fit all,” Becker says. “Each organization required an individualized approach, just like every real estate client requires individualized attention and unique marketing strategies based on their goals.”
As a lifelong Chicagoan, Becker has extensive personal experience in buying, renovating and selling a variety of properties. With an eye on every detail and attention to the bottom line, he brings this knowledge and experience to his clients to help them best prepare their home for the market, so they look their best, sell quickly and achieve the highest returns.
In his first year, Becker has already established a well-rounded client base, working with sellers, buyers, investors and relocation clients on properties ranging from single-family homes to condominiums within the Chicago market. In addition, the Pfeifer Becker Team ended 2017 ranked among the top teams at Jameson Sotheby’s. “It was an amazing first year and I thank my clients for trusting me,” he says. “We all know that selling or buying real estate can be a very emotional experience. I want to ensure my clients are well informed and supported, smiling throughout the process, and that I exceed their goals and expectations.”
Because of his prior experience in the nonprofit sector, Becker was also asked to lead the Jameson Charitable Foundation as board president. “Since accepting the role we have defined our mission; partnered with an innovative nonprofit, New Story; and have raised the necessary funds to begin building a community of homes in Morelos, Mexico for families in need,” he says, “and we are just getting started. It’s the perfect blending of my personal and professional passions, and I’m excited with our progress to date. I believe in every endeavor we should focus on what we can give back.”
