Vol. 4, Issue 19, New Construction: Belden Place

by Chicago Agent

The Dearborn-Buckingham Group has announced the start of pre-construction sales at its new Belden Place townhome community located in north suburban Mundelein. Located off Allanson Road in southeast Mundelein, this 17-acre neighborhood features 90 row-style townhomes, with pre-construction base prices starting in the $270,000s. Three decorated and furnished models will open early next year, with the first deliveries scheduled for summer 2008.

Belden Place is located near Hawthorn Center Mall, additional shopping, dining and entertainment choices along Town Line Road. Also close by is the White Deer Run golf course and Mundelein Park District, which includes Lakefront Park on Diamond Lake.

The Dearborn-Buckingham Group offers three different floor plans at Belden Place, sized from 1,800 to 2,000 square feet. Pre-construction base prices begin in the $270,000s, depending on building location and floor plan. The homes are row-style townhomes with finished lower levels and rear-load two-car garages. The exterior of the homes at Belden Place highlight brick trim with covered front entryways and columns, arched window openings and gable end roof detailing.

The layouts include two to four bedrooms, a convertible loft, one and one-half to three and one-half bathrooms, den, combination living and dining room, family room and large kitchen with breakfast area. Every home also features an owner’s suite with walk-in closet and private full bathroom (or private access to the hall bath) and central air conditioning. Options include adding a bedroom suite with full bathroom in the lower level, dual master suites upstairs or a super master suite.

The Dearborn-Buckingham Group has created a neighborhood layout at Belden Place, which features an entrance monument off Allanson Road.

Features include a lake that winds along the main boulevard, park space with a tot lot, natural wetlands and curved streets that position each group of homes to provide views of open green space. A landscaped center promenade in the motor court gives each home outside views from all sides.

The floor plans at Belden Place are the Astor, Belden and Chestnut. Each of these homes includes features such as nine-foot first floor ceilings, ceramic tile or oak hardwood floors in the entry foyer, Colonial six-panel doors and trim with premium hardware, wall-to-wall carpeting and designer light fixtures.

The kitchens highlight custom designed wood cabinetry and a complete GE appliance package that includes an under-cabinet space saver microwave oven, a self-cleaning gas oven and a built-in multicycle dishwasher.

The bathrooms include wood vanities, vanity mirrors and plumbing fixtures by Kohler. The master bathroom includes a dual-bowl vanity, walk-in shower with seat and separate soaking tub.

Options include wooden stair rails, iPod docking station and whole house audio system, fireplaces, skylights, counter top and flooring upgrades.
