Vol. 4, Issue 19, Good Deeds: Playhouse to Benefit Homeless

by Chicago Agent

HomeAid Chicago is now conducting its annual Project Playhouse fundraiser and promoting a prize drawing for a custom-built, American Girl-themed children’s playhouse valued at $20,000. Funds raised will go to build shelters and provide support programs for the area’s transitionally homeless population.

The playhouse will be displayed at Westfield Old Orchard on weekends through Oct. 7. There, playhouse opportunity tickets can be purchased for $2 each.

The playhouse drawing will occur the morning of Oct. 13 at HomeAid Chicago’s Run For Cover 5K Fun Run/Walk benefit, held at Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village.
