Ryan Parks is a 13-year real estate vet who currently works as a Realtor for @properties, specializing in luxury properties throughout Chicago. Parks is fresh off a stellar 2016, in which he was named to the Chicago Area Realtors Top 1 percent list, achieved Top Individual Realtor honors at
@properties’ Bucktown office, and grew his own personal sales volume by 40 percent. But that doesn’t mean he’s satisfied. With his team-first approach and penchant for creating mutually beneficial long-term relationships with clients, Parks is set up to have an even bigger 2017.
Equally comfortable working with both homeowners and investors, Parks has extensive experience with a number of different property types, including condominiums, townhomes, single-family homes, multi-unit buildings and new developments. Still, Parks knows there’s much more to the business than simple know-how, and counts his people skills as just as valuable as his real estate knowledge. This has led to an extensive list of loyal clients, who have even followed him through various company changes. “After deciding to transition back to @properties after being with a different brokerage for three years, I was able to successfully retain my client base,” Parks tells us. “I’m so humbled and grateful for the clients I continue to serve and the loyalty they’ve demonstrated over the past 13 years. The mutual trust and respect is what makes me want to give them everything I have when they’re planning their next move and/or referring me to a close friend or family member.”
Parks says that a large part of why he’s been able to cultivate these sort of relationships is his honesty and frankness. “Generally speaking, clients appreciate my willingness to answer their detailed questions, offer my own candid suggestions and ultimately put them in a position to make an educated decision as a buyer and/or seller,” he says.
As important as fostering client relationships is balancing team relationships, something Parks prides himself on. “One cannot maximize their potential alone,” he tells us. With his individual know-how and team-oriented mindset, Parks has found a winning recipe for real estate success.
