Andre T. Mitchell and DJ Peoples call themselves The Dream Team for good reason — not only are they experienced and easy to work with, but more than anything, they prioritize bringing their clients’ dreams into fruition. “We become invested in our clients’ goals of homeownership and fight hard to make sure they take the best route to make this achievement,” Mitchell says.

Both Mitchell and Peoples are broker associates with Baird & Warner and specialize in selling properties within Chicago and its suburbs to first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, millennials, investors, and clients seeking to relocate. More than 90 percent of their new clients come from referrals.

In the past year, The Dream Team closed 74 units and ranked among the top 1 percent in their office as well as among the top 1 percent of teams companywide. They were also invited to join the Baird & Warner Chairman’s Club and successfully launched Young Entrepreneur Professionals. “Coming from families where entrepreneurship was exemplified, we collectively decided to strategize to help educate youth on the benefits of entrepreneurship and how to position themselves in the best light to catapult their entrepreneurial endeavors,” Peoples says.

With 23 years of real estate experience between them, both Mitchell and Peoples are members of the Main Street Organization of Realtors and are committed to helping their clients and the communities in which they work. “The goal is not only to bring value to our clients daily, but also to carry out our philanthropic endeavors and make a difference in the communities we service,” Mitchell says. Through supporting local entrepreneurs as well as working closely with their local churches, Mitchell and Peoples strive to do all they can to improve the lives of others.

Mitchell and Peoples are self-described “family people” and their dedication to their own families mirrors their dedication to their clients and ultimately helps them succeed time and time again. “We understand the needs of each family and structure a strategy to help each client,” Peoples says.
