Heidi Seagren

Vice President of Sales
Seagren Fine Homes/Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Known as the “Realtor with Results” by those who have worked with her, Heidi Seagren has been ranked in the top 5 percent of agents nationally, and was the top listing leader for the Barrington and North Shore offices of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. She has the most prestigious professional initials a Realtor can have: CRS, or Certified Residential Specialist, a designation only given to the top 12 percent of Realtors in the country. She has 18 years of real estate experience under her belt, and nearly $200 million in sales. Those successes have led to her recent promotion from broker to vice president of sales at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty.

Seagren attributes her success to her tenacity, her love of listening to others’ stories, and her dedication to serving others. Her interest in real estate stretches all the way back to her childhood in Minneapolis, Memphis, and San Francisco, when her parents would take her on Sunday drives after church to look at houses. “We would see such beautiful palatial homes, and I would call them ‘Yikes Houses,’ as in ‘Yikes, that’s a gorgeous home!’” she recalls. When she was 14, one of her very first jobs was working as a receptionist in a real estate office, and her voracious appetite for reading led her to spend hours looking as listings. Today, she has her own listings priced from $250,000 to $7 million.

She pursued a degree in journalism and worked as a news reporter after college, and she says moving from reporting to real estate was a natural transition. To Seagren, the most important thing in real estate, as in reporting, is trust. “I consider it an honor that they trust me with their dreams – financially, emotionally, and logistically. I do not take that trust lightly.” Though she is focused on market trends and leveraging her considerable business acumen, at the end of the day, Seagren works with people, not price ranges.

Seagren also prides herself for her ability to help her clients get settled into their new neighborhood. “People want to know where to live, where to shop, what doctor, dentist, hair salon, and car dealership to go to,” she says. As the leader of Seagren Fine Homes, her expansive local knowledge makes her someone her team can look up to. She is licensed in both Illinois and Colorado, and can confidently handle clients’ every need in both markets.

Outside of real estate, Seagren is a dedicated mom to her son and daughter. As if that was not enough, she’s also working on a book, and has recently gotten certified to be a Pilates instructor.
