Senior Vice President of Marketing
Home Partners of America
Ayoub Rabah’s accolades speak for themselves. He is a licensed real estate broker in 21 states, and has been recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors as a top producer for more than 10 years. He’s been featured in the top 10 of the Wall Street Journal’s REAL Trends’ 500 rankings for transaction volume twice, coming in at No. 6 in 2011 and No. 4 in 2012. In his 14 years in the real estate industry, he’s sold more than $360 million in total residential properties.
Perhaps one of the secrets of Rabah’s success is his direct approach. “I learned the real estate industry the old fashioned way – by diving in head first,” he says. Rabah’s first foray into the world of real estate was entirely personal, as he bought his first home just a few years after graduating college, rehabbed it, and sold it. “That was way before all of the ‘cool’ rehab shows today,” he says. From then on, Rabah has been heavily involved in the industry and has not looked back.
Having spent most of his career working mainly in single-family residential and investment properties, Rabah now heads up marketing and new business development for Home Partners of America, a company whose mission, he says, “is to make homeownership a reality for more people.” For Rabah, that is what it all comes down to at the end of the day, what inspires him and fuels his passion for the real estate industry day in and day out. “It is such a wonderful feeling to see the joy in people’s faces when they achieve their dreams of homeownership,” he says.
That consumer-focused approach is what has gotten Rabah this far, and what makes him so excited to be working for Home Partners of America. He tells us that a big part of his philosophy is that “if you do right by the consumer, success will follow,” and it’s certainly seemed to pay off for him. Home Partners of America caters to households who are looking for a single-family home and all the benefits that come with it – living in a good school district, access to a stable, growing community, and so on – but are not quite ready to commit to a mortgage yet. For those clients, Home Partners of America offers a “Lease with a Right to Purchase” program. The program is also popular among clients who have recently relocated and are unfamiliar with the area, as they can “try it before they buy it,” as Rabah puts it, getting a chance to see if the home and neighborhood is right for them before making a commitment. For someone whose daily inspiration is helping first-time homeowners achieve their dream, it seems like a perfect fit.
