What was your first job in the realty industry?
I worked as part of the sales and marketing team for LR Development (currently Related Midwest), marketing “The Residences on Lake Shore Park” in Streeterville.

Where did you grow up?
Chicago’s Rogers Park

Growing up, what did you want to be?
A back-up singer in a rock and roll band

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I typically do not get stressed. My philosophy is that of living a balanced life and keeping things in perspective.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Former President Jimmy Carter. Since leaving the White House, he has devoted himself to humanitarian work.

Home

What do you love most about the industry?
It’s never boring. Every day is a new day. I help my clients make their dream come true. Purchasing a home is one of the biggest decisions a person will make during their life.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I have been fortunate in my career to be recognized as a member of the top-performing agents in the city.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
When deals do not come together. However, at the end of the day, that deal in most cases was not meant to be.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
Social events

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Being married 38 years and raising three independent children who are all happy and successful in their lives. My greatest pleasure is hanging out with them.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
“The Hunger Games”
