In another life, Michelle Liffick practiced law as a litigation attorney. She decided to switch gears when she realized that she did not enjoy the combative nature of litigation. She liked bringing people together and finding common ground, which led her to real estate.
For the past 18 years, Liffick has brought her experience to clients in a style that she describes as “fun, light and easy on the outside; business and strategy on the inside.”
Liffick specializes in residential real estate and serves Chicago and the city’s surrounding suburbs. She loves the adventure of working with clients in a large metro area where there’s always something new to discover. Having lived in “Logandale” (on the very edge of Logan Square and Avondale) for 12 years, she does much of her business on the Northwest Side but also works all over the city she has called home for 26 years. She notes, “I go where my clients need me.”
Indeed, the needs of her clientele are a top priority. Whether a client is still learning about the market or a seasoned investor, Liffick’s approach is tailored to facilitate the best outcome and to honor her client’s best interests. Her mostly referral-based clients describe her as an honest, loyal and devoted ally.
“This is about advising and guiding, not selling,” she says.
A member of her local Realtor association and active in her community, Liffick is an avid gardener with a love for native plants who also cares for a colony of working feral cats. She also loves to watch birds and other wildlife among the city’s trees, along its streets, in its beautiful parks and along the lakefront.
