After Jaymi Block’s arrival to RE/MAX Legends in August 2023, the team onboarded over 20 agents in two weeks and doubled the agent count of the office by year’s end. These outstanding numbers landed Block a Recruiter of the Year award and Eagle Award for retention. Block is proud of what she’s been able to accomplish despite the difficult market of 2023.
Block’s career spans over 20 years. She’s a top-producing broker in both residential and commercial real estate, licensed in Illinois and Indiana. She’s also involved in referrals in the U.S. and internationally and is part of the Global Business Council committees. She’s worked in a variety of roles and is familiar with many aspects of selling and leadership. Block uses her experiences to educate the agents at Legends as their designated managing broker. She’s excited about the group’s future. “With experiences in growing real estate and other ancillary services offices, we are excited to remain beacons in our industry as strong leaders to keep the integrity and progress for all,” she says.
Clients enjoy Block’s professional style. She’s often described as a high-energy, solution-based and results-oriented broker. “Essentially, I get things done, yet make the process as enjoyable as possible,” she says. Block especially enjoys working with clients who require extra support, something she calls “seeing a need to be heard.” She’s assisted many clients for whom English is not their first language and those who require non-customary loans, including ITIN and self-employed individuals. Clients can always count on Block to tell the truth with kindness. “Especially in today’s climate, I truly feel the yearning to have deeper relationships with meaningful dialogue,” she says. “In our business, we need to be the consummate professional, and that means giving information and advice that is necessary and not necessarily wanted.”
Block and RE/MAX Legends are involved in philanthropic ventures. The Legends office is a Children’s Miracle Network office. They host fundraising events, including the Give Like Legend event, which draws industry partners and raises donation for the nearby Lurie Children’s Hospital. Block is grateful for these opportunities to give back to her community.
