Andy Tisler learned the importance of homeownership from his parents, who emigrated from Romania in the 1980s. “My family also owned a small real estate and mortgage company, so I learned the business from an early age, listening to the dinner-table discussions,” he remembers. With a finance degree, he started in the industry by processing his own loans. “I know, firsthand, all the ins and outs on how to get even the most complicated loan to the finish line,” he says.
A senior home lending advisor with Chase for over 11 years, Tisler specializes in conventional and jumbo financing, originating in all 50 states. With a laid-back attitude, there are no high-pressure sales tactics with Tisler. “I have always believed that if I provide value to clients, they will want to work with me,” he explains. “So, my focus is to provide value to others first.”
Reaching $1 billion of career-funded volume this year, Tisler was awarded the No. 1 Home Lending Advisor at Chase for the eighth year in a row in 2022, funding over $130 million in volume and helping over 250 families. Leading a team of five, he is able to provide a seamless experience for clients while at the same time providing support to Realtors and bank partners. “I am fortunate to have over 300 Zillow reviews online, and the great thing about that is whenever I have a bad day and need a pick-me-up, I can go there to get a boost,” he admits. “My favorite is when clients consider me trustworthy, honest and a great leader.”
Tisler, his wife, Andrea, and their three boys spent the past two years splitting time between Chicago and Kauai, Hawaii. “The remote-work environment allows me to continue providing exceptional service to my clients and partners while also spending more time with my growing family,” he says. “It has by far been the best time of our lives.”
