What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Always have been in real estate.

Where did you grow up?
Chicago and Arlington Heights

Growing up, what did you want to be?
Always wanted to be in real estate to grow up in my fathers shoes and learn from the best.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Go fishing or drag racing.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I would have loved to sit down and talk with Martin Luther King Jr. about how he would be fighting against the spoils of today’s world.

What is Chicago’s best-kept secret?
The Chicago lakefront at sunset from a boat. There is no better view in this city.

What do you love most about the industry?
It is different each and every day. From the people you meet to the properties you see, nothing is ever the same.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Experience and honesty.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Keeping a level head when things that are out of our control go wrong.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Continually work your sphere and your sphere’s sphere.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Continually growing each year I have been in business.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
It’s summer, so country music on the boat!

What’s your favorite meal in Chicago?
The restaurant Rose Mary, specifically the tuna crudo.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago?
The Tribune Tower.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
It would have to be censored. Never in my life did I expect him to stand in the building hallway completely naked while we showed the apartment.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
It has been many years, but can play over five instruments.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Marco Island, Fla. I can completely relax the second I get there.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Never give up on yourself.

Remine.

Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?
I follow all types of people from other agents, to racecar drivers/friends and personal friends.
