What was your first job in the realty industry? Leasing agent, salesperson license and now broker.
Where did you grow up? Northwest suburbs.
Growing up, what did you want to be? I always wanted to be in real estate. My dad owned a mortgage company but loved the sales aspect and actually going out and doing showings and meeting clients.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Working out. I love to run on the lake every morning. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and attending sporting events.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Kelly Ripa, because I feel like she can pretty much do anything. She has a great career and family life and is still a kind person.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Anywhere outside in Chicago in the summer.
What do you love most about the industry? No day is ever the same. You get to meet great people and help people out with the most important purchase of their life.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I believe I am very honest with clients, am never pushy and will actually tell a client not to buy something if it isn’t a good investment or if that person is unsure.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Organization and trying to have a social life. We work all the time!
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? A lot of charity events and sporting events.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Seeing the growth of our team since starting with Matt five years ago has been pretty exciting stuff.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “The Tipping Point.”
What is your favorite restaurant? Shaw’s or Gibson’s.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? 600 N Fairbanks, and the Hancock.
What kind of car do you drive? A white Audi A4.

What is your favorite city after Chicago? New York City, or maybe Miami in the winter.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Don’t stress the small stuff.
