Where did you grow up? Long Island, New York.
Growing up, what did you want to be? A psychologist.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Keep perspective that this is all a choice. No one is forcing me to work at the level I do, I choose this, so why get stressed about it? I meditate every morning too.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Tony Robbins, because he’s a great example of being intentional about your life and focus.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? The dinner table with my wife and three daughters.
What do you love most about the industry? Your business can be as big as you want it to be and look how you want it to look. We are the luckiest people on the planet to be able to do what we do on a daily basis.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? My track record and systems.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Distractions.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I live my life and follow my interests and talk to everyone along the way.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Developing strong relationships with my family and spending time together.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I listen to audiobooks a lot. Elon Musk’s biography is a great one.
What is your favorite restaurant? Hot Woks Cool Sushi in Roscoe Village, because my kids actually eat it.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? The Chicago Water Tower castle on Michigan Ave.

What is your favorite city after Chicago? San Diego, Austin, Las Vegas, there are so many good ones.
