Agent Snapshot: Raminder What was your first job in the realty industry? Realtor

Where did you grow up? Around the world in India, Somalia, Poland, USA, Suriname

Growing up, what did you want to be? A diplomat

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I play ping pong regularly.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? God, so we could figure out the truth.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? The planet

What do you love most about the industry? Flexibility and the ability to meet and interact with people from all walks of life and understand their journey.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I try to be prompt and courteous, and also a bit of a devil’s advocate at times.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Knowing that some things aren’t in your control

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Everywhere. Ping pong clubs.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Sustaining existence and not doing too much harm to the world (or so I think).

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Not in God’s Name by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks

What is your favorite restaurant? Taqueria Al Asadero on Montrose

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? Marina Towers

What kind of car do you drive? A 2001 Mercedes ML320 bought on Craigslist for $5,000

What is your favorite city after Chicago? The city I am in at any given moment.

Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? I’ve mostly tired of Twitter, as it’s mostly noise. I have some token people that I follow, but I’m waiting for God to tweet!
