Baird & Warner announced that top producing real estate broker in Chicago’s North Shore, Catherine Leonard, has been named the new managing broker of the Evanston sales office.
Leonard’s new role calls on her to provide sales training and mentorship to the current team of broker associates, while also leading recruiting efforts to support future growth. Laura Ellis, senior vice president and general sales manager at Baird & Warner, Chicagoland’s largest, locally owned independent residential real estate services company, said Leonard is the ideal candidate for the position.
“Catherine’s experience as a top real estate producer in the Evanston area, combined with her years spent as an advertising executive, made her the ideal candidate for the position,” said Ellis. “We’re excited to support Catherine in growing our Evanston office.”
Prior to joining Baird & Warner, Leonard worked as an associate broker at Coldwell Banker in Evanston for almost 10 years. At the brokerage, Leonard was a top producer, earning a Sterling Society Award in 2010 and a Diamond Society Award in 2008. Before entering the real estate industry, Leonard was vice president and account supervisor at Young & Rubicam, then New York City’s largest privately held advertising firm. As a brokerage with a long-standing legacy, Baird & Warner has left a lasting impression on Leonard.
“I’ve always been impressed by Baird & Warner’s ability to consistently provide the most innovative tools and the best training methods in the business,” said Leonard. “I’m so pleased to join the management team. They truly exude the utmost professionalism and reflect Baird & Warner’s long-standing legacy of experience and integrity.”
