David Weekley Homes Announces Expansion To Chicago

John Morgan, the leader of David Weekley’s Chicago team.

Founded in Houston, Texas in 1976, David Weekley Homes has announced it’s expansion midwest to Chicago. This will mark the first time that the home builder will be building homes in this state and anticipated sales of Weekley’s in town, high-density homes are to begin in the fourth quarter of 2014.

“Entering the Chicago market is an incredible opportunity for David Weekley Homes and our Team,” said David Weekley, chairman of David Weekley Homes. “We are looking forward to expanding our home building operations and product offering to home buyers in the Chicago area.”

In addition to the expansion, John Morgan is now to lead the company’s Chicago team as division president. Morgan brings ten years of home building experience and prior to the promotion, he served as a project manager where he excelled at assembling teams of talented individuals and motivating them to achieve both company and personal goals.

Morgan joined the company in 2004 and earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and a masters of business administration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
