Broker Emily Sachs Wong recently left Koenig & Strey for @properties.

After 15 years of being a top-producing broker with Koenig & Strey, Emily Sachs Wong felt it was time for a change.

Sachs Wong, who often records in one year more than $100 million in closed residential sales volume, has left her longtime firm for @properties, according to a recent press release.

The release said a five-member staff and four licensed brokers will join Sachs Wong at @properties, which is partly owned by her husband, Thaddeus Wong. Sachs Wong, 45, said she made the switch with her clients in mind.

“I wanted to align myself with a company that could better serve my clients,” Sachs Wong said in the press release. “@properties is not only the number one broker in the city by sales volume, it is also the leader for innovation and technology. With the extensive marketing and advertising I provide my clients, I know @properties will best serve my business.”

Sachs Wong has evolved to specialize in the luxury real estate market since entering the industry in 1998 with Coldwell Banker. She primarily works in Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, River North, Lakeview, Bucktown and Wicker Park.

Thaddeus Wong said his wife will be able to grow her luxury market with the pull of @properties.

“The timing couldn’t be better for Emily to join @properties,” Wong said. “We continue to bolster our presence in the luxury market, and Emily is looking to further expand her business. It’s a perfect combination of luxury brands. Our new East Lincoln Park office, which is opening next year, made the move even more attractive for Emily.”

Sachs Wong lives in Lincoln Park with Thaddeus and the couple’s four kids.
