Baird & Warner Real Estate Announces Sales Back to 2007 Numbers

Baird & Warner has surpassed $3.5 billion in sales, a number the brokerage hasn’t seen since 2007.

Baird & Warner has surpassed $3.5 billion in sales as of July 2013, a level of business the residential brokerage hasn’t seen since 2007. Baird & Warner also announced that the company has closed nearly 14,000 transactions and taken over 9,000 listings, more than any other independent real estate brokerage in Chicagoland.

“This has been a year of achievement, not only for Baird & Warner, but also for the entire Chicago area real estate market,” said Steve Baird, president and CEO of Baird & Warner. “It is a reflection of the outstanding job that our broker associates and staff have done in servicing our clients’ needs. I’m extremely optimistic about the rest of the year, as well as 2014.”

Baird & Warner Improves Their Performance

In another indication of market recovery, since the beginning of 2013, nearly 300 Realtors have joined Baird & Warner, which is 58 percent more than last year.

“It’s particularly exciting to see so many of the new real estate professionals select Baird & Warner as the brokerage of choice,” Baird said.

The brokerage also noted strong performance in its title insurance and finance business, with Key Mortgage Services, a top Illinois mortgage company, set to close its most successful year since its inception.

Baird & Warner Title Services was named one of the top 10 title companies in Illinois by Fidelity National Title Group for the second year in a a row and, in addition to this recognition, the title company has seen a 38 percent increase in orders closed over last year.
