Richelieu Flats: A Big View From a Small Building

Michigan Ave., is one of them, with the 950-square-foot terrace of the penthouse overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan.

Originally a luxury hotel in 1883, Richelieu Flats was used as showrooms for the Karpen Furniture Company in 1895. The terrace, shown in the photo at left, and the building are located steps away from the theaters, symphony, park and museums, among other amenities, in the Loop.

“The duplex probably has about 950 square feet of terrace overlooking the water,” said Millie Rosenbloom of Baird & Warner, who is selling these condos. “But what makes this unique is the whole package.”
