Baird & Warner has named industry veteran Jeanine McShea to the new position of vice president of sales.
In this new role, McShea will work with the brokerage’s residential sales team to enhance management development, sales training and career growth, as well as oversee the Baird & Warner Leadership Institute.
Jeanine McShea to Join Baird & Warner
Laura Ellis, Baird & Warner’s senior vice president and general sales manager, said McShea’s background makes her ideal for her position with Baird & Warner.
“Jeanine’s strong history of recruiting, managing and internal sales education will be instrumental in our continued investment in programs designed to support and develop our new and experienced broker associates’ careers and sales skills,” Ellis said. “She brings a wealth of experience and integrity that makes her a natural fit within the Baird & Warner organization.”
McShea began her career as a top-producing real estate agent at Jameson Realty Group and Coldwell Banker. She quickly became a major player in the Chicago real estate market as a managing broker and was named president of @properties in 2008. Before joining Baird & Warner, Jeanine was the executive vice president and Gold Coast sales office branch manager at Koenig & Strey Real Living.
In addition to her brokerage roles, Jeanine serves as a guest instructor for Roosevelt University’s real estate masters degree program. She is also a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors educational advisory board.
McShea said she is excited to work at Baird & Warner, given the brokerage’s emphasis on technology and innovation.
“My experience with Baird & Warner began in the fall of 2012 on a consulting basis, and I quickly realized that this was the place to be,” she said. “The brokerage’s forward-thinking technology and sales tools are far superior than any I have previously experienced. I’m particularly excited about their approach to integrating mortgage and title to enhance the entire real estate experience.
“I was drawn to Steve Baird’s vision and his commitment to remaining independent and continuously innovative.” McShea continued. “This company truly is the leader in the Chicago area marketplace, and it was even named third in the Top 100 Workplaces in Chicago – the only real estate firm on the list. That’s why I made the decision to join.”
