RE/MAX Expansion Expected to Increase Productivity

by Chicago Agent

Chicago real estate office, RE/MAX Signature, has expanded their facility and recently gained new agents from RE/MAX Skyline, continuing their steady growth over the years.

The firm will soon be relocating from their current office at 2901 N. Clybourn Ave. in North Center, to a new facility at 2411 N. Clybourn in Lincoln Park. Conference rooms with flat-panel televisions, remote access computer files, high-speed Internet, and Voice over Internet Protocol phone service are some of the luxuries that agents will enjoy at the new location.

“Today, real estate is more about providing agents with resources and training and less about giving them office space because frankly they do most of their work from their home offices and their automobiles thanks to laptop computers, smart phones and other high-tech devices. At the same time, their clients are also migrating to the Internet, so that much of what was done on paper or face to face is now done electronically,” said regional director of the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network, Jim Merrion in a statement.

Linda O’Donnell, broker/owner of RE/MAX Signature, aims to create a paper-free work environment with forward-thinking technology, and also looks forward to merging with Skyline.

“We’re excited to welcome this group of outstanding and experienced agents to our office,” said O’Donnell in a statement. “They will strengthen our presence, especially in the Humboldt Park community, and they are an knowledgeable and highly productive group of professionals, so our office will benefit in many ways.”

According to PRWEB, RE/MAX Signature is regarded as the top-producing single Chicago RE/MAX office for 2008, 2009, and 2010; the combined activity of the Signature and Skyline offices in 2010 resulted in over $64 million in closed sales volume and over 500 transactions.
