What was your first job in the realty industry?
I began as a real estate appraiser for my father’s firm, which specialized in relocation and litigation support.

My wife

What is your favorite free-time activity?
Working out and eating, alternately

How did you learn the business?
I learned marketing while I was at Procter & Gamble on the Crest and Scope accounts. I learned residential real estate as an appraiser.

What was your most difficult sale, and how did you succeed?
My most difficult sale was representing a seller in a transaction with an unrepresented buyer. I succeeded by knowing that, in the end, the buyer knew what they had been missing by not being represented by an agent.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Working as a dual agent when I like one client and not the other.

What was your worst job, and what did you learn from it?
Making fries at Wendy’s on a 90-degree day in July. I learned to appreciate central air conditioning.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
No. 1 performance ranking in the RE/MAX system
