Walsh Communications will be handling publicity and promotion for the second annual Run For Cover, a 5K run/walk for charity that will be held Oct. 13, 2007, at Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village.

Proceeds for the event, which is sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, will go to HomeAid Chicago in its goal to benefit the transitionally homeless, those thousands of individuals throughout Chicagoland who may be temporarily destitute and need a place to stay until they get back on their feet.

Those interested in gathering sponsors and participating in the run/walk can register online at runforcover5k.com. Online registration is $25 ($10 for kids 12 and younger), faxed or mailed registration is $30 or on-site registration on Oct. 13 is $35 (group registration discounts are also available).
