Cultivating relationships and connecting people have been cornerstones for Sarah O’Shea Muñoz in establishing and developing a successful 20-plus year real estate career. Muñoz was inspired early in life to create. It began with furnishing and decorating the doll house her father built for her at age 5. It was designed to look like Abraham Lincoln’s home in Springfield, Illinois, the town where Muñoz grew up. She learned about construction, rental property and what it takes to run a business by watching her attorney father and contractor grandfather.
Though Muñoz is not an interior designer, she knows how to create a warm inviting home to be lived in or prepared for sale. “I love embracing historic elements, incorporating interesting décor and repurposing pieces. I’ve always had a passion for real estate,” she shares.
Known for her local market knowledge and ability to make things happen, Muñoz recently procured two off-market property sales resulting in life-changing purchases for her buyers. “Nothing beats my relationship network,” she says.
Muñoz, a broker associate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, has been opening doors for clients from the city to the far western suburbs. Ranked in 2025 among the Top 3% of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Network, she was also recognized with the prestigious Chairman’s Circle Gold award. Muñoz is a member of the Oak Park Association of REALTORS®, Illinois Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
Muñoz settled in Oak Park and River Forest, where she’s lived for nearly four decades, raised her now-grown daughters and has built a wonderful life amongst her exceptional community. She recently discovered a new love for hiking and climbed Zion National Park’s Angel’s Landing. Muñoz enjoys traveling, pickleball, platform tennis, reading, swimming, biking and Millennium Park summer concerts.
