Sarah Elder Lyons, Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate, Premier Estate Properties

Born into a real estate family, Sarah Elder Lyons regularly read Architectural Digest as a young girl. Her grandfather and father designed homes, while her other grandfather was a cement contractor. As she explains, the Elder family owned a lumber company for 63 years. “They built over 200 houses in our hometown and owned investment properties, including farms, hotels, rental homes and commercial buildings,” she shares. “I remember waiting in the car while my dad collected rent.”

Today, Lyons is a broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate in Winnetka and works with Premier Estate Properties in Palm Beach, Florida. A resident of Winnetka for 36 years, she represents all types of clients with their residential, commercial, condo, multiunit and investment properties. She covers Chicago, the North Shore and Palm Beach.

Consistently recognized as one of the top agents in the country, Lyons was featured in The Wall Street Journal’s list of the top 1,000 real estate professionals. In addition, Tom Ferry ranked her among the top 1.5% of agents in the U.S., while the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS® listed her among its top 5% of agents. She has been featured in Chicago Agent’s Who’s Who edition since 2022.

Outside of real estate, Lyons has been a member of the Auxiliary Rush University Medical Center Women’s Board for over 20 years, the chancel choir at Kenilworth Union Church and the paddle and pickleball teams at Sunset Ridge Country Club. Known for her creative marketing and problem-solving mindset, she recently bought her own investment property in Palm Beach.

A new grandmother, Lyons enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, skiing, yoga, walking, music and photography.
