The inspiration for Jessica Jakubowski’s career came from her aunt Shirley, who lives in Hightstown, New Jersey, and had an uncommon gift for showing up for people. Jakubowski wanted to do the same. She got her license in 2013 and built her business in Frankfort, Illinois, where she has lived since 2009 — establishing herself as a leading force in the local market and throughout Chicago’s southwestern suburbs.
That community investment runs deep. Jakubowski serves on the Village of Frankfort Plan Commission and sits on the board of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, keeping her close to the direction and growth of the area she represents. Her weekly “Frankfort Fridays” social media series highlights local businesses and neighborhood life, an intentional approach that markets the lifestyle as much as the homes themselves. The result is a client base drawn not just to properties, but to the community as a whole. She serves luxury buyers and sellers, move-up buyers and relocation clients throughout Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox, Manhattan, Orland Park, Tinley Park and the surrounding southwestern suburbs, specializing in luxury homes, custom-built properties and golf course communities. Nearly all of her business comes through referrals and her local network.
The results from 2025 reflect that presence. Jakubowski finished as the top individual broker in Frankfort by closed sales volume and the top broker in her @properties Christie’s International Real Estate office in Orland Park, while also ranking among the top 10 brokers in Will County. She also represented the highest-priced residential sale ever recorded in the Frankfort MLS — a significant benchmark for the market she has spent years helping to build. Chicago Agent magazine named her its Rookie of the Year in 2015.
