Erin Feinerman, a Realtor with Cross Street, applies her real-life experience to every real estate deal. As the owner of apartment buildings, she knows how to help buyers who are currently renting get out of a lease or sublet. She is experienced in negotiating commercial leases and running the numbers for investors to determine if a property is a wise choice. She knows which renovation projects deliver the highest return on investment.
Feinerman has been selling real estate for 11 years on the West and Northwest sides of Chicago, as well as in Evanston and Oak Park. She has lived in Wicker Park, Bucktown, Humboldt Park and now Avondale, where she’s raising a family. “I help plenty of first-time homebuyers who become sellers later on,” she explains. “I try to be a resource for queer clients looking for someone who knows the lived experience and what is important.”
By learning about buyers’ needs and wants beyond location and price, Feinerman helps them accomplish their goals and shows sellers how to capitalize on market conditions to get top dollar for their homes.
Feinerman got into real estate via family; her dad and brother used to run a small development firm. “People would always hit me up because they knew my dad had apartments,” she shares. “It just naturally happened. I was lucky to have my brother as a mentor. He was patient as I learned the business.”
A member of National Association of REALTORS® and Chicago Association of REALTORS®, Feinerman is known for being responsive and transparent throughout the transaction process.
“I am one of a kind,” Feinerman says. “You get the real Erin every day, and that can’t be duplicated.”
After changing brokerages this year, Feinerman continues to grow her business, and she is on track to meet all the goals she set for herself.
