
A licensed real estate instructor, Tracey Royal educates both real estate professionals and future homeowners. Recognized as a respected industry thought leader, she is the vice president of agent development for the Chicago city region at Coldwell Banker Realty. “My role is to empower real estate professionals at all levels, from those launching their careers to seasoned agents looking to scale their business,” Royal says. “My commitment to education ensures that both real estate professionals and consumers have the knowledge needed to make informed, empowered decisions.”
A 2024 Coldwell Banker Realty President’s Council honoree, Royal is the recipient of numerous accolades, including the 2024 Heroine of Housing Award by the Oak Park Regional Housing Authority, the 2022 Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) Industry Partner Member Award, the 2021 Women’s Council Chicago Member of the Year Award, the 2020 Illinois Realtors Presidential Medallion and President’s Award, the 2019 CAR Realtor Achievement Award, and the 2018 Dearborn Realtist Board Realtist of the Year Award. Formerly a board member for CAR, Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of Realtors, she currently serves on the Cook County Land Bank Authority board.
Royal brings over three decades of expertise to the industry and is an alumna of many prestigious leadership programs. A National Association of Realtors instructor for the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation, she teaches specialized courses for the Chicago Association of Realtors. She’s also an instructor for the Oak Park Regional Housing Center’s West Cook Homeownership Center.
As a major investor in the Realtors Political Action Committee, Royal is the former federal political coordinator for Congressman Danny Davis in the 7th Congressional District of Illinois. “I actively champion policies that protect homeownership rights and the real estate profession,” she declares.
