Mike Monier, a natural people person with a background in sales, marketing and recruiting, transitioned into real estate in 2019 after seeking a more dynamic, client-facing career. Having lived in nearly every corner of Chicago since moving from Central Illinois in 2008, Monier developed a strong familiarity with the city’s neighborhoods long before launching his career. That personal connection to the market — paired with his ability to adapt and connect — made real estate a seamless fit.

Monier’s business style is process-driven yet personable, and he brings a solutions-focused approach to every transaction. Known for his responsiveness, transparency and deep market knowledge, he guides clients through each step with clarity and patience. Whether he’s working with first-time buyers, luxury sellers or renters transitioning into homeownership, Monier consistently builds trust through clear communication, strategic negotiation and a commitment to making the process as smooth as possible. Almost all of his clients come through referrals and repeat business — a testament to the long-term relationships he prioritizes.

As a member of the high-performing Mundy Advisors team, Monier credits his rapid growth and success to thoughtful mentorship from his business partner Chris Mundy and his proven systems, and continuous learning. Additionally, his trusted lending partner, Mike Nielsen of OriginPoint, has been an invaluable resource to him as he deepens his knowledge base of the mortgage side of the business to better serve his clients. This year, Monier surpassed his personal sales record by mid-year, achieving a sale-to-list ratio of 104.3%, well above the market average.

Outside of real estate, Monier enjoys traveling with his wife and two daughters, having explored destinations around the world. He believes in the lasting value of exposing his children to different cultures and experiences early in life. That same open-mindedness carries into his work — where every client and transaction presents a new opportunity to grow and serve with care.
