Before becoming a real estate broker, Tim Sacks worked in technology sales during the recession — a role that often left him unable to advocate fully for clients. That disconnect motivated him to pivot to real estate, where he could work directly for his customers. Influenced by his mother’s success as a property owner and renovator, Sacks saw real estate as a path to help others experience the pride and stability of homeownership.
Over the past 11 years, Sacks has built a referral-based business rooted in responsiveness, empathy and preparation. Focused primarily on first-time buyers and small multifamily investors, he works across neighborhoods including Lakeview, North Center, Lincoln Square, Skokie and the northwest suburbs. He brings a consultative style to every transaction, combining deep listening with a calm, adaptable presence that helps clients stay grounded in stressful moments. Clients consistently cite his quick response time and respectful approach to their time and concerns.
Sacks has received multiple sales production awards, including Chicago Association of Realtors Top Producing Team honors. In 2023, he was named a Top Producer at Fulton Grace and returned to @properties Christie’s International Real Estate in mid-2024 to continue his work independently.
Sacks is an active volunteer for the Chicago Marathon and a supporter of Alex’s Lemonade Stand, inspired by a young relative’s leukemia diagnosis. He also regularly volunteers at local school events and neighborhood festivals. Outside of work, Sacks and his partner, Evelyn, enjoy kayaking, attending live ‘90s concerts, and playing pickleball and tennis. Much of his time is happily devoted to raising three teenage boys and exploring the city together as a family.
