Marissa Stapleton, Broker

Coldwell Banker Realty

Licensed in Chicago in 2007, Marissa Stapleton has lived in no fewer than 18 cities internationally, traveling with her husband during his professional hockey career. So Stapleton knows a thing or two about buying, selling and relocating. Once she and her family settled in Long Beach, where she became the first team member of the Line Mullins Group, her career took off. Today, Stapleton is a thriving real estate broker specializing in Indiana lakefront properties.

Stapleton’s 13 years of industry-specific expertise have equipped her with the confidence to handle various transactions, ultimately leading to her success. “My ability to navigate through challenging transactions while keeping both parties happy has been a key factor in my achievement,” she observes. Stapleton is the recipient of multiple honors, including the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle, the International President’s Circle Award and the International Diamond Society Award.

Going above and beyond for her clients, Stapleton assists with organizing and decluttering, including furniture sales, as well as arranging outside contractors to facilitate the transaction. Her enthusiasm for the Michigan City beach town area, her personable nature and her meticulous attention to detail have made her a favorite among clients and peers. Her most memorable compliment of last year came from someone she wasn’t even representing, the buyer — whereas she had represented the seller. “After the deal was done, the buyer contacted me, invited my husband and me over, and said, ‘If there is ever another transaction in my future, I want you representing me, you did a remarkable job’ and went above and beyond,” she remembers.

Stapleton and her friend and business partner, Line, have opened a boutique called LMG INTERIOR in the Uptown Arts District in Michigan City to complement the real estate group in which their office is located. She enjoys interacting with the customers of the boutique, which has become a Michigan City favorite.
