Laura Hermiz Roumayah loves the satisfaction she feels every time she helps a client achieve the American dream of homeownership. It’s the driving force behind every loan she gets approved. She always wants clients to leave the transaction table knowing they got the best possible terms on their loan.
Roumayah, senior home lending advisor with JP Morgan Chase Bank, began her career 22 years ago. At the time, lending was just a job to her. But the longer she did it, the more she enjoyed going to work every day and it soon became her passion. Now that passion has evolved into an award-winning career.
Roumayah has been named a Chase National Achiever for the past nine consecutive years, an extraordinary accomplishment considering mortgage rates hit a 30-year high last year. “I have built a large customer referral base because clients trust that I will always go above and beyond for them,” says Roumayah, who has vast knowledge of the industry and the ability to build long lasting relationships with clients. “My clients appreciate that I am always available when they need me and they can reach me any time, late at night or during weekends and holidays. They trust that I will give them the best financial advice when it comes to home lending.”
Roumayah handles all types of loan products, from conventional to FHA. She has been a relocation specialist working with “Big 3” automotive manufacturers General Motors, Ford and Chrysler for the past five years. In 2023, she continuously managed to meet the production goals she set for herself, despite the industry taking a little hit. “My biggest accomplishment is gaining the trust and respect of my clients and partners, which is something I work hard at each day,” she says.
Outside of work, she loves to travel with her husband and 10-year-old daughter.
