Jennifer Baron, Real Estate Agent

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

Prior to moving to Southwest Michigan, Jennifer Baron spent the early part of her career in Chicago, where she worked as a location scout and manager in television and film. This role catapulted her into real estate, as one of her duties was to find short-term rentals for cast and crew members, in addition to finding the perfect locations for filming. Possessing a passion for Chicago architecture and a drive to work in real estate, she boldly sent a letter to the founder of a brokerage she saw featured in Chicago Magazine. Hired days later, Baron boasts a storied and successful career spanning more than two decades.

Unique to Baron and a nod to her prior work experience is that she approaches real estate transactions like productions. Her masterful coordination of all moving parts for optimal client experience is a key reason why she is referred to by clients as one of the hardest-working agents they’ve ever met. She strategically employs home staging and right pricing for market conditions. “Consistently, for more than a decade, my listings sell at or above asking price within days,” she says. “My three-pronged formula is right pricing, exceptional presentation and the best marketing available in the industry.”

In addition to numerous professional certifications including Seller Representative Specialist, Pricing Strategy Advisor, and Certified Negotiation Expert, Baron serves on two committees for the SWMI Association of Realtors. Proudly, she is one of @properties Christie’s International Real Estate’s founding agents, now celebrating her 19th year with the brokerage.

A passionate environmentalist and organic gardener, Baron raises and releases eastern black swallowtail and monarch butterflies to aid pollinator populations. She enjoys repurposing beautiful things, home decor items in particular, and often puts her creative eye to use in design and remodeling projects for friends and clients.
