Natasha Robinson has always dreamed of leading a lending team just like the group of knowledgeable loan originators that she now works with at Guaranteed Rate Affinity. The dedicated originating manager partnered with five other loan originators to create an elite team with the goal of increasing homeownership, especially in Black and brown communities. Robinson specializes in assisting loan originators with growth opportunities. By providing guideline training, marketing coaching and structure and helping realtors scale their businesses and connect with other professionals, Robinson opens doors for low-producing loan originators, accelerating their journey toward becoming top producers.
Robinson entered the mortgage industry more than 20 years ago because she ran out of money while rehabbing a property and needed a job. Her first interview was with a mortgage company. “I fell in love with lending, and I have been in the industry ever since,” she explains. Named the No. 1 Female Originator of FHA loans in Illinois by Executive Magazine, Robinson has also achieved Chairman’s Circle status with Guaranteed Rate Affinity
Robinson offers a variety of options, from conventional, jumbo and VA and FHA loans to down payment assistance and renovation loans. She manages her team in her Bronzeville/South Loop branch, which she restored with her vision of being a sanctuary for homebuyers to explore homeownership and gain the education they need to make it happen. “I don’t just turn clients away whom I cannot help,” she says. “I put them on a path for homeownership so they can come back and execute that dream.” Robinson has a system in place that enables her team to close loans quickly and efficiently. She credits her success to loving what she does. “It’s not a job, it’s my passion,” she shares. “It brings me happiness to make individuals who never thought they would become homeowners, homeowners.”
