So, it is a true honor to be referred to a past client’s family member, co-workers and their neighbors. It means I’m excelling at my job,” she says. “I love building my relationships. Every year, I am referred amazing connections that often stay as friendships after closing. I am extremely grateful and blessed.”

Petrik sold $15.5 million in 2022 with 30 transactions, bringing her career total to $95 million. She was inspired to make real estate a fun experience after she read a 2018 study that called homebuying the most stressful event of modern life. She prioritizes the experience as much as the end result, thriving on communication, setting clear intentions and clarifying the process. During the transaction, she communicates with clients to ensure they feel comfortable, sending countdown-to-closing-day messages and checking in on their comfort.

A big fan of Chicago, Petrik lights up when she talks about the city. “Chicago is unlike anywhere else,” she says. “Every time I travel, I am enamored by the city skyline as I’m flying in or driving back downtown. This city has energy that you can truly feel. It’s beautiful.” She believes her energy and love for the city will ensure clients’ homebuying experience will be the foundation of their best memories to come.
