Before real estate, Theresa Hahn attended interior design school and worked in professional sales. Whether she was selling debt-relief programs or large appliances, she always displayed thorough product knowledge and operated out of a deep desire to help people. “Still today, it’s about putting myself in my client’s shoes, understanding where they are coming from and helping them come to a smart and exciting conclusion,” she shares. Now with 16 years in the industry, she serves clients in the Chicago metro area with care and advocacy.

“I approach the career as an opportunity to help people … I want to meet people where they are and get them to their goal,” says Hahn. She gets a thrill from showing off the always-evolving properties the area has to offer. With a warm demeanor, extensive market expertise and refined negotiation skills, Hahn strives to place her clients in homes they can be proud of. This is likely why her business is entirely based on referrals.

Now that her children are in school, Hahn takes advantage of opportunities to lunch with friends and colleagues, and to network. By leveraging technology and every opportunity for growth, she now lays claim to more than $150 million in sales production. Hahn has also achieved top producer status with COMPASS since 2019 and is a member of the company’s Legends Society. She’s also part of the groups that work to promote growth and accountability.

Design and decorating are Hahn’s hobbies, and she regularly hosts gatherings with different social groups. “My proudest personal accomplishment is always going to be the happiness and hilarity of my sons, Everett and Jasper,” she says. Hahn enjoys watching her children grow into fun little people, exploring the city, and appreciating the big and small blessings.
