Hadley Rue, Real Estate Broker

Dream Town Real Estate

With over $150 million in sales, Hadley Rue has been a Top Producer for Dream Town Real Estate and the Chicago Association of Realtors for six years running. In 2018 and 2021, he was the No. 1 individual producing broker by volume at Dream Town, and last year he was the No. 1 Individual Producer in the company’s Lincoln Square office and No. 2 companywide for units sold. Named a Notable Realtor by Crain’s Chicago Business, he has been featured in Chicago Real Producers and recognized as a Five-Star Real Estate Agent.

But ask Rue what accomplishments he finds most satisfying, and he won’t mention sales records. “Building strong, enduring relationships with my clients is the most rewarding aspect of my work,” he says. His impressive success is built on a foundation of loyal clients and referrals — a testament to his delivering outstanding service and results, aptly reflected in his tagline “Rue Can Do.”

Rue’s passion for his work is rooted in his personal experiences of buying and selling properties before becoming a broker. Having served on several condominium boards, he understands the importance of a healthy operating association and sound finances. “Because of these experiences, I appreciate what it means to be on both sides of the table, and I’m always sensitive to my client’s specific needs and goals.”

Enhancing Rue’s professional expertise is his personal knowledge of Chicagoland’s many facets. “I grew up in the western suburbs, which gives me insight into its residential neighborhoods and school districts.” Additionally, his previous career at a private foundation on the North Shore helped familiarize him with the communities there, and later he conducted one of the largest real estate transactions in that area. An 18-year resident of Edgewater-Andersonville, he has a deep knowledge of Chicago’s North Side neighborhoods and loves calling the area home.

Rue consistently aims to exceed his clients’ goals. Meticulous attention to detail; a tailored, client-centric approach; integrity; hard work; and positive energy are his hallmarks. When not working, Rue enjoys supporting his community and serves on several nonprofit boards.
