Bradley Rasof, Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending

CrossCountry Mortgage

Real estate is not a 9-to-5 business, and Bradley Rasof is not a 9-to-5 mortgage expert. “Buying a home is, for most people, their largest financial transaction, and it can be stressful,” Rasof explains. “That’s why I make sure my team and I do everything in our power to make it a smooth and stress-free experience with no surprises for our clients.”

An important part of ensuring that stress-free experience is being there to soothe client concerns as they come up, so Rasof makes himself available on evenings and weekends to answer questions and offer guidance. He also leans on Production Manager and Assistant Leslie Patel, Processor Aimee Fields and Marketing Assistant Bridget Bennett, a team he describes as one of the best in the business. “You can’t do everything on your own, and truthfully, you’re only as good as your team,” he says.

Rasof credits his success to a sense of humor, combined with his all-business approach, to delivering each client’s loan on time. “At the end of the day, people do business with who they know, like and trust,” he says. He and his team prepare clients by taking the necessary steps to qualify them up front, which he believes results in a smoother process all around.

Though 2022 was a challenging year for many in the mortgage business due to interest rates drastically increasing, Rasof is proud to have funded $52 million in mortgages, 90 percent of which were purchases, in that period. An 18-year veteran of the mortgage business, with a background in insurance and finance, he has earned a variety of accolades, including being named to Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in America and Scotsman Guide’s Top Originators.

Rasof’s clientele range from first-time buyers to seasoned investors, in a market that stretches from Chicago to the suburbs. “In this market, who you work with matters, in fact it can even mean the difference between your offer being accepted or not,” he says.
