In 1997, Glynnis Johnson began her career in commercial real estate property management. For the last 18 years, Johnson has been growing a successful business in residential real estate sales. “My experience as the property manager of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business has prepared me to navigate the demands of managing the needs of multiple clients, negotiating contracts and analyzing data,” says Johnson, a broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate. “This extensive knowledge and expertise allow me to be a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, including luxury buyers and sellers, first-time homebuyers, investors and developers. In 2023, she had the pleasure of assisting a development group with the design and sales of one of the newest condo developments in the emerging Washington Park neighborhood. “This stunning new construction project featured luxurious finishes and was designed to provide residents with a sophisticated and comfortable living experience,” she says.

Johnson’s remarkable success can be attributed to her unwavering commitment to a client-centric approach. Every transaction begins with a consultation aimed at comprehending the distinct requirements of each client. “By adopting an organized and systematic procedure, I’m able to provide my clients with a comprehensive understanding of the homebuying and selling process,” she says. “Being organized and having well-planned systems in place are crucial to success.”

Exceeding client expectations is at the core of Johnson’s business philosophy. She believes that trust, communication and integrity are essential components for a successful client experience. “I’m not a transactional broker and I value my client relationships,” she explains. Her commitment to building long-lasting relationships is evidenced by the fact that 75 percent of her business is generated from referrals.

Johnson is a Certified Residential Specialist, which is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents. She has earned NAR’s Pricing Strategy Advisor, e-PRO and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist certifications. She also holds the designation of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist.

In her free time, Johnson enjoys traveling abroad. She has visited 14 countries and plans to travel more this year. She also enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and their rescue cats.
