“Get the work done first, and then celebrate”: That’s the motto that Christine Egley-Rashkow lives by in her real estate career — and it has served her well. With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Egley-Rashkow has managed to blend business with fun to assist her clients. “I think I’m a good mix of both extremes,” she says. “I am a very transparent person, and in some cases I have to be direct to guide a client to prepare for their home sale. My clients describe me as persistent during the real estate transaction.”
Egley-Rashkow embarked on her real estate journey after building a home in Highland Park, where she discovered her passion for the design process. “Understanding the construction of a home, as well as loving the design aspect and trends, set me apart from some of my colleagues,” she notes. “I work with a lot of contractors, which helps when getting a home prepped to list.”
Egley-Rashkow’s specialties include new construction, luxury properties and rehabs. Her expertise extends to market areas such as Lincoln Park, Logan Square, Bucktown, the West Loop and North Shore suburbs. One of her greatest accomplishments was recently expanding her market into the South Florida region. “Due to low inventory, I got my license in Florida,” she explains. “I have already helped several of my clients find second homes in the Marco Island area.”
Her extensive network and relationships with various schools in Chicagoland also provide great value to clients with children, especially those who are new to the area or experiencing life changes. As a testament to her professionalism and expertise, Egley-Rashkow is a member of the Top Agent Network, and has also been recognized within her company for her outstanding sales performance, receiving Sotheby’s Platinum Sales Award.
Outside her professional life, Egley-Rashkow actively engages in philanthropic endeavors, participating in events for Lurie Children’s Hospital. She enjoys staying active through various activities, such as working out, skiing and dance, and recently discovered a passion for pickleball and deep-water fishing since spending more time in Florida.
