Ali Wenzke, Real Estate Broker

COMPASS

A resident of Wilmette with her husband and three teenage kids, Ali Wenzke moved 10 times in 11 years before settling down on Chicago’s North Shore over a decade ago. Wenzke knows what it’s like to be new in town. She regularly hosts events for new residents so they can get to know others who have recently moved to Wilmette, and she also shares tips through her blog and book, “The Art of Happy Moving.” For Wenzke, the transition from frequent mover to real estate broker was a logical progression, one that allows her to help make the buying and selling experience as stress-free and happy as possible for her clients.

Specializing in relocation, Wenzke serves many types of clients, from first-time buyers to luxury sellers. Her background is uniquely suited to real estate. A graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Law School, Wenzke combines her skills to provide a well-rounded experience for her clients. They appreciate how she makes the transaction process more manageable while always being responsive, optimistic and putting their goals first. They often say to her, “I couldn’t have done it without you.”

Wenzke enjoyed sharing her decluttering tips on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” last spring. She credits her success to her client-centrism and skill at making the process manageable and fun. “Having fun is key,” she shares. Her winning style has led to multiple awards in 2022, including the Rising Star Award from Five Star Professional and ranking among the Top 10 Rookies for sales by the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors.

Wenzke enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and eating homemade chocolate chip cookies. She serves as the Welcome Ambassador for the Wilmette/Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce. A recent personal win for Wenzke is beating her son in chess. She now boasts a win-loss record of 1-219.
